Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

13 of us going down to the country club for brunch. After that they all come back here, less than a mile, for coffee even though brunch should have taken care of that. Later on I’ll be driving Jesse and his wife home.

Hoping Varitek starts sleeping better at night. Since we got home he paces the house from 1:20 am until breakfast. I end up out here trying see if he’ll settle down but it hasn’t happened yet. He finally pooped yesterday after 2-3 days of not so maybe he’ll get regular again.

Taking my Mom & family to Brunch here in a few hours…

Decided to assemble the new “Smart” bird feeder beforehand…got it interfaced & working with App via WiFi and now just charging the battery. Still need to install the solar panel charger & hook it up.
This thing even has a loud azz alarm function that I can activate from my phone to scare off the damn squirrels when they show up 🤣

And it doubles as a back of house security camera w/motion detection…👍

Also added an extra steel support bracket underneath the base…tends to get windy around these parts 😜

VigilanteTrail you should be able to mix cayenne pepper with the birdseed to keep the squirrels off it.

VigilanteTrail I have one of those from Christmas. Took it out yesterday but as I can see it’s going to take a half day to get it 100% so maybe next weekend. Plus, I need to find a mounting spot and method within WiFi range

Done with Easter related activities. Tomato plants look like they're off to a blazing start having survived the transplant and gusty winds most of the week. They've added a little growth in the past 4 days and built some bulk on the stems to fight the wind. Thought our A/C died while gone, but nothing looked froze up or out of sorts. Turned it off for awhile. Went and replaced the filter since it was a bit past due anyway, and turned it back on. Seems to be working fine. Might have just been tripped by a power surge or something while we were gone. I asked our son if he noticed anything and he just said "well it seemed like it's been a little hot the past couple of days". 👀 Just ate a double Baconator from Wendy's and am firmly in veg out mode for the remainder of the evening.

Worked this morning. Just spent lunchtime putting sheet plastic down around the tomato plants to block the weeds. All I have to do now is install the cages around the plants, water and feed them as needed, and pray that the weather is agreeable to growing tomatoes this year. Now to make a sandwich and get back to work.

Yard work . The one job I have been putting off forever because it really didn’t matter where it was the other side of the fence. Got that done with Nicks help. Well, done enough…. I can go further back in the fall. Took Varitek for a very short walk. Sitting outside now having an iced coffee. Thought about goin to the range and taking the plastic off the irons but it’s school vacation week and the range with the golf school there will be like a daycare so forget it

Just had a bird stop by the feeder that I’ve never seen before. I couldn’t get a good picture, but looked it up and it’s a Rose-breasted Grosbeak. Looked just like the one in this photo from the internet. Apparently they winter in Mexico and Central America, and breed in the northern U.S. and Canada so a lot of you are probably familiar, but I’d never seen one before. Beautiful bird just a passing through.

Worked this morning. Too late for gym class so I went to our range. Only had my 52 degree, that was fine… just wanted to chip and hit some easy shots. I grabbed a small bucket with probably 30 balls. I went down to the end of the range I hate because it’s at a weird angle to the range… I hate it because it’s uncomfortable with the angle of the range and the mats but there were 8 million kids running around up top. Out of the 30 balls, I shanked 20😂

Went up to the green, chipped fine for a half hour. Went to the part of the range I normally go to with another small and hit them all fine.

Typhoon There is definitely something about being at the far end of the range, especially if they have dividers like in a dome. I can aim say far left from the far right bay7 but with the dividers pointing straighter it just throws things off and I end up swinging more along the divider line if that makes sense.

Par4QC Which nation? Did not know either was/is famous for knives. Once I bought a set I stopped paying attention to knives. Been to each many times for work, no issues here.

I've found the more I ignore people the more they ignore me right back. I like that. About a million people at the airport now that I want them to move aside and ignore me today. Must be still part of spring break. Too many people here. All thinking they are the only ones traveling today.😎😡

Walk mowed the greens. I learned that there was a water leak, so I got to dig that up and do exploratory excavation. Found the leak, and a line to a sprinkler head. Head was capped off, so we dug a little more, punched a hole under the fence and put a new head on the practice green.

Grocery shopping, added some braces to my shed ceiling joists for club/rack storage. Glued up some EYE 2 and ZING2 heads with graphite shafts, cut the grass.
