I had a phenomenal day today. Long post I'm sorry. TL: DR played golf with "adopted" family, had a good day at work.
A week ago I was asked if I could get a tee time for a group to play Rancho San Marcos. That is the course that we (the staff at my little course) has been helping get back to being a functioning course.
This tee time was to be a birthday gift for his wife. (She is boss lady's sister. As boss lady isn't here anymore, and the entire family has told me that they consider me family, she is now my sister as well. Confusing, I know)
I was able to get everything set, and I was there to greet them, and introduce them to the people who were opening the course for them only. I was expecting that they would show up and that I would have to leave 20 minutes later to haul horses.
Everyone showed up at 9:40, and I had to leave about noon, so I was able to play 9 with them.
The group was my sister Robin, her two sons, Kevin, and Austin, along with her nephew Noah.
Noah was boss lady's son, and I hadn't seen him in a few months. Turns out he wants to learn to play golf, and today was his first time playing.
I got to spend a little time with the Noah, he's now 6'4"-6'6". He told me that he definitely wants to learn to play. He was using some of my clubs as I'm a little taller than the rest of the group and my clubs are a little bit longer.
I told him, I have a driver for him, and I can get him a putter easily enough. He mentioned that he was liking the V2 LogicalOne putter I have.
After golf, I went to work, and hauled horses home to Newbury Park. Got every horse unloaded and put away, and the boss man showed the grazing area he has been growing for his horses. It's a lot of clover. He said he was looking for a 4 leaf clover if there were any. He walked around the main growth, and I pointed out one to him. I was told to pick it and that it was mine. So I now have a large 4 leaf clover to my name.

Noah, on hole 7 tee box.
