Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Its a muted softer feel. I don't know why so many would be for sale...maybe by people NOT fit for them? I dunno... The Stealth Plus is the one to get though. The standard version spins more.

My project today was to do the first oil change on my Toro rear engine ZT mower. I told my wife that I was going out to work on the mower and to get the bandaids ready. Oil drain was a piece of cake by just pushing on a hose to a quick turn fitting, turn it and let it flow into a jug on the ground. Next was to change the filter. It was a small spin on filter but spun on 90° to the frame and surrounded by lots of sharp frame parts and plastic fender. I couldn't find and easy way to get to it. I was finally able to get an old steel band swivel wrench on it and discovered that the filter was welded on with nuclear weapons. After much swearing I finally got it to budge. Then finally getting it to move another smidgeon after repositioning the wrench many times until it finally spun off. I have never a filter put on that tight (thank you Toro). After getting the filter off I noticed that the plastic fender had turned my right forearm into what looked like a meatball sandwich. No pain and little bleeding but geez. Another situation where the engineer who designed this shit never had to fix anything.

Sounds like my cub cadet ZT filter location. Maybe one of those old style cup filter wrenches would work well?

Rickochet sound alike someone forgot to put some grease on the gasket... I got away from using oil on the gasket as it always seemed to dry out and it was always a pain to get the filter off. I use grease, never had a problem with it coming off until I want it to and can use my non dominant hand.

Exactly. I didn't have time to go get one and didn't want to put the new oil in until the filter came off and the mower was outside in the driveway. Next time I will have a better filter wrench. I also looked on Amazon and saw a bunch of newer design filter wrenches.

I have had other "over tightened" issues on this mower. The first time I took the blade off I had to buy a 24" breaking bar to get the bolt loose.

I have another demo day down at New Bedford Country Club. A bit of a ride 1.5 hours🙄. At least I get paid for drive time. That’ll take up the whole day. Looks like another shitty day out too. Cloudy and 50 degrees.

Just got to the barn, hooking up the trailer and getting ready to haul 3 up to woodside for a show. Then back home, maybe I can find an electronics shop and pick up a relay for an amp I need to get working again...
Hopefully I can get to the course tomorrow, after getting shavings and doing whatever else I need to for the barn.

Attending a retired teachers luncheon where I'll reunite with many of my old colleagues from the
high school where we all taught for all those years. Looking forward to seeing lots of old friends,
some of whom are even OLDER than I am....!!!
