Sparky Planning my first business trip in two years!
Lynchburg VA is the destination. But it looks like I'll be able to sneak in a couple of rounds on the ends. Considering flying into Greensboro NC and playing around there. Any locals with recommendations for that area?
And two years later back to glorious Lynchburg I go! Taking the red eye Saturday, arriving in Charlotte at 5:00 am. Get the rental car, grab breakfast, and head north. Two years ago my plans to play The Highland Course at Primland were dashed my a load of thunderstorms. So far, Sunday looks good, so I'm aiming for Primland again. Haven't called the course to see if I can get on yet.
Hoping to get in a round after work on Wednesday (work scramble planned at Poplar Grove) and maybe Thursday. Friday will be the drive back to CLT. Will either go back though the mountains and play Olde Mill, or stay on the highway route and play Bryan Park.
All the planning did no good two years ago, hoping for better luck this time.
