Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Not too exciting of a day. My wife and I went for a 3 mile walk and then we ran by an autocross to wish happy birthday to an old friend and then I participated in a Google Meet with some beer friends (beers were also drank).

Squeezed 9 holes in for the 1st round in VA of this season. Our course is in pretty good shape. I forgot how nice it is to strike a ball off thick zoysia fairways. 😍

Looking for a replacement car for my 99 Camry. Had it since new. Kinda getting a little rough underneath. Something $10,000 or less hopefully, but won't rule out something new. Maybe a Corolla, Civic, etc. No newer Chevys. My wife is the warranty administrator at our local Chevy dealer. Repeat- No Chevys!!!

meagain I was looking for a good deal on Corolla or Civic a couple of years ago. Hard to find one with reasonable mileage for under $10k, but I found a Scion iM with 28k miles and manual transmission for $10,800 if I remember correctly. The iM is basically a Corolla and came off a Corolla assembly line from Japan. Due to work from home I've only put 10k miles on it in a year and a half, but everything has been perfect with it so far. Hate the cartridge oil filter though.

Thought maybe someone would have something for me when they move up to their Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Tesla, etc.

meagain Like you, I drive 'em til 'the wheels fall off, so you won't get anything here. I think this '06 Camry will outlast me though. I've got more miles than it does.

Par4QC Think it has 168,000 miles. Just getting broke in for Toyota/Lexus. Unfortunately the Pa/salt winters have taken it's toll. My wife is crying about not having her Camry.

My '09 Tacoma has 56k on it and my wife's '12 Highlander has 25k. I am a big Toyota fan and our dealership is the best place I have ever dealt with. My wife bought her Highlander for $0 down, 0% interest for 60 months through Toyota Financial.

Like my truck. It had 1 small rust spot on it when I got it 4-5(?) yrs. ago. Today, it has 1 small painted spot left, and no rockers. It has 235K and runs great.
