Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

mulegolf I'm putting covers on my rain gutters so I don't have to climb up a ladder anymore to remove leaves, etc. I'm trying a couple of different kinds on small sections of gutters. Next year I'll decide which is best and do the rest of the house with that one.

I did that two months ago. I did a lot of research and decided on these by Leaf Tek. I liked the ones with stainless mesh but saw too many reviews about them "sheet feeding" too much run off in heavy rains. I have two areas that if my gutters clog and over run I can get some moisture in my basement. I had a young dude install them for me.

We went with a stainless steel version from Home Depot last year.

$208 to do our 1500 sq ft ranch. (The Mrs And I)

Unless it's a toad stranger, they work very well.

I used the stainless mesh ones in one area and some that are similar to the ones you used in another area. Those Igot from the guy who made and put up the gutters for me several years ago. The main difference from yours is that at the back there is a semi soft vinyl edge about and inch wide that compresses against the back of the gutter and the drip edge of the roof. They are the ones that he recommends. I've read reviews on ones like yours (and now mine) that complain about the fact that they lay flat on top of the gutter and if you have seeds, pine needles or even leaves that are wet they just lay there on top of the gutter and sooner or later it plugs up and the water runs over the edge, etc. That's why I decided to test two different kinds of covers.

I installed about 40 sq feet of travertine around my pool deck. Had an area that was rocked and a little funky looking. I just have to install about 7 linear feet of edging tomorrow to finish the job. Those will be mortared in and I didn't want to mess with that today. Also ordered about 600 sq feet of pavers for my front yard project I am getting ready to start. Ti.Time to make my front yard look as good as my backyard.

This one is as good as a cell phone can get, I guess. I'm on lead with the Les Paul and backwards Bryson hat. Sister on drums. A few of us donned beards for effect.

Enjoying coffee out on the patio , coolish but sunny Fall day.....some paperwork to do and set up my possible trades for Tuesday, then turkey goes in the oven and I will scoot over and play 9 while the bird cooks.
Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixins at 7pm

fatshot Looking at an older Highlander and a newer Sorento. I am leaning towards the highlander as it would be a cash deal, but who knows. My father is on his 2nd Sorento and they have been good vehicles.

I would like to say I went golfing this morning. I don't think the game I played today would qualify as golf. Bad vibes on the course and I couldn't get my head right with my irons, wedges or putting. The driver was working. Lots of long bombs due to taking my aggression from the previous hole out on the ball. Annoyed with the 2 fellas they paired me and my buddy up with. One dude was so bad he played holes 5-18 with his 7 iron only except for around the green and putting. The other guy just wouldn't shut up.

Might have done that but I had to pay $90 for the round today. Cheap golf in AZ is officially over for the year. I paid $90 to play both courses at the same place a month ago.

Thats the thing with booking tee times online. I got into a little argument yesterday with a twosome. They booked their time for 2 players and someone else went and booked the other 2 spots. It was a busy Saturday... every spot taken and they complained about having to play with someone else. Nothing I could do about it.

I offered them a refund... they were just pissed and started being jerks about it.

I died just a little bit today. Threaded a 5 wood between two front bunkers on 18 to leave a 3 ft eagle putt. I missed it with a push lip out 😿.

If you are ever in Starkville, MS, I highly recommend playing the Mississippi State University Golf Course. A beauty - and only $30 on a Sunday afternoon.
