Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Typhoon I hear you. I was interested in going, but I really only had ~ $100 worth of pro shop credit when the last one was going on and I didn't want to take up a time slot just to try stuff. Now I've got waaay more than I can spend on balls, gloves and new shoes so I figure it's worth it. Plus hardly anyone signed up for this one whereas the last one filled up. I think they will only have TM and Cally to demo, but that's fine. I should be able to get a fairway and have plenty left for a putter if I want.

Snuck out for a surprise round of golf with the wife and son. Shot 91, but it was at the hardest course around and the greens were amped up and with evil pin positions. Think I 3 putted about 7 times today. For the most part my driver behaved and my irons were much crisper than they’ve been all year.

Have you replaced the 9 iron shaft from when we played at DS?

Yep. It was my desert club Ping G10. The only shaft I had to replace with was a 6 iron shaft from a Ping I5. Should be fine for a desert club.

Disconnected and cleaned the rest of the pool shit.

Finally went through a barrel of discarded shafts from long forgotten experiments -- tossing a bunch of stock shafts from 15-20 year old clubs, rusted steel shafts from before that. Always thought I might use them for something, but I never did, and it was time for them to go.

Some of them shafts could make great tomato plant stakes. 😄

ptjn1201 I have a similar barrel, and raided it today to replace a stiff shaft in a Taylormade 3 wood
for a friend of mine. At age 75, I don't think I'll be needing a stiff wood shaft anytime soon! Glad I hung on
to them!!

Those old steel shafts make good shaft extensions. I use them when I need an extension or 2 and don't wait for an order to be delivered.

Got my other carpal tunnel surgery today. A bit sore but overall not bad.

Saw the surgeon today - carpal tunnel surgery is next Friday, 9 Oct. Get stitches out on 19 Oct then head to Florida for the season.

I got my flu shot yesterday and felt like crap 5 hours later after I did the pool closing. Arm hurt, muscle aches, skin hurt.... woke up around 2 am and was shivering. Feel fine this morning. Fuckin flu shot side effects...

I had exactly the same reaction to the ‘senior’ flu shot on Monday. 😖
Feel fine two days later. First time ever for a reaction to the flu shot. Grrrrrr.
