LOL.....here's the secret.....(and my son and I figured this out many years ago when he was just a teenager) Have the SON do the asking. He and I texted back and forth and planned for HIM to call ME the other night when Mrs. Fatshot was present, and ask me if I wanted to play golf while we were in the area. My wife always says something like "Oh, go ahead.....how many times is your adult son going to ASK YOU to play golf with him??!!!!"
It used to work especially well around the family dinner table! I don't know how many of my friends I've given this tip to, and they tell me....."OMG....It worked like a charm!!!"
(Just hope my wife doesn't read Golfbuzz !!!!!). 😎
