sdandrea1 Mediation in College Park, MD. Just took 2.25 hours to drive 70 miles......in the rain. I hate I95 in/around DC. 🤬
sdandrea1 Walterjn damn... That sucks!! Mediation was successful, but the 70+ mile drive home was, once again, 2+ hours. Nap time.
Walterjn This was yesterday's project. Paint the rails. They were already white as I did that last Friday. Mask and paint... they wanted it to look like a peppermint stick...
Rickochet I had to unclog a slow running shower drain. I used one of these for the first time. It was super easy worked like a charm. I was amazed that the tool pulled out more hair than I have on my head and I am the only one that uses that shower.
KCee sdandrea1 the 70+ mile drive home was, once again, 2+ hours. You may want to drive faster so it will take less time 😉
Rickochet sdandrea1 Mediation was successful, but the 70+ mile drive home was, once again, 2+ hours. Nap time. I saw where I-95 in CT was closed for three hours today because of multiple accidents caused by a truck leaking human waste. It must have been as slick as shit, no? 😛
sdandrea1 KCee You may want to drive faster so it will take less time Damn......now ya tell me. We need to tell the eleventy-hundred-thousand cars stacked in front of me too.....
KCee sdandrea1 In just a little bit I will spend at least an hour driving about 38 miles home....hopefully only 50 minutes coming back tomorrow morning though. I feel your pain.
backinit KCee How about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes every day? Worked, came home, had my job interview, fixed my Husqvarna 450 pull cord. I'm waiting for it cool off a little to spend some time outside with the boy.
KCee backinit I did that for 4 years at my current job. It was rare to WFH then and pre-Covid I-84 traffic in Hartford was way worse. There were bad weather days I spent 3.5 hours commuting ☹ Now I WFH twice a week and use that to avoid bad weather day commutes. Plus traffic is a bit lighter these days. I also used to drive to Long Island every week for 4 years and work down there so I learned to be zen about traffic.
CallMeAl Visited This Place.... They are moving to Pinehurst in September. I'm glad I got the chance to visit.
ode Walk 18 @ 6 a.m., home to shower and make a cup of coffee, work 9-5, home to watch tape delay of The Open and possibly have a few beers!
