LBlack14 shit, I'm not the brains there. I'm just the strong back. I'm also the newest one there helping. They tell me dig, i dig. They tell me when to fill the hole as well. I do know that from the time the repair was made, until the water was turned back on was at least an hour. No idea what a thrust block is.

sdandrea1 all vehicle manufacturers have issues.. none are perfect. Some have better frames, some better bodies, some better engines or transmissions. Some just have better creature comforts. Some just have a storied history and people think they are worth the cost and maintenance cycles...

Oh, I get it. I have LUSTED after many Chrysler muscle cars. Love the look and lines. My BIL has a Hemi-powered loaded up Challenger that makes me drool. My comments are based on the practical PapaD who shops for comfort, reliability, MPG, high consumer ratings......you know, Japanese cars. 😉

sdandrea1 oh, so not the white German car in the background of a few of your pics?? 😉. I love reliability, mileage, and life expectancy. Not to mention ease of repair.
I still turn my head and give a thumbs up to those sweet 60's-70's muscle cars of GM and Chrysler. Even the occasional blue oval, although most of those are the older lead sleds.

That's SWMBO'S car. I was talking about the "family" general use vehicle. She dances to her own tune......always has. Besides, I get to drive hers.😎. Her MiniCooper convertible is in FLORIDA. 😉

Not long back from the Renaissance Club and the Scottish Open, where I've been volunteering all week - my first experience of being a walking scorer (the person that carries the board with the players' scores). I think that I've been pretty lucky with the groups that I've been assigned to - Fowler/Clark/Hatton on Friday, Schauffele/Higgo/Fleetwood on Saturday, and Nikolai Hojgaard/Woodland today (so the best round of the day on both Friday and Saturday, and Hojgaard qualified for the Open with a final round 67 today).

Just got back from a good practice at Chippewa GC. I've been having problems with my driver, so I hit some of those, which I don't usually do. Amazing how much better I hit it when I remember to hold my follow through / finish position for a count of three...!!! Hopefully I got things straightened out.....then I chipped and putted for about an hour. Nice cool day here, so a good day to practice !!!!!
