Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Worked on more jump standards, working on building 8 more out of 4x4's and 2x4's. I've already gotten everything cut to length, now I'm just priming everything so I can assemble and paint it all. While I was working on that in the garage, I kept hearing a faint beeping. It was a few beeps, then quiet for 5 minutes. About drove me sane. Turns out the freezer was heating up and that was the alarm. The reason the freezer was warming was because the internal fan was frozen in place. Turns out the drain by the fan needed to be enlarged. That was the fix by the service personnel online. So I pulled everything out, removed the fan housing and enlarged the drain from about 1/4" to 3/4". I also made a mount for my cell phone to attach to my push cart, used a 1/4" NC screw with a large round head, a bunch of washers and a nut.

Worn out today......
Thursday....drove to Cleveland to play golf with son.....rained out after 9. Two hour drive home.

Friday....Mowed the whole lawn and helped the Mrs. get the house ready for other son and DIL coming from out of
town for dinner....cooked steaks on the grill.

Saturday....played golf with other son....rained out again after 9....first son and 4 year old grandson waiting when we
got home. Son / grandson stayed the night....grandson has more energy than TEN 4 year olds.

Sunday....everyone left for home. Mrs. Fatshot and I collapsed in our Lazy-boys. Women's US Open and
maybe a nap in store for this afternoon.....!!!

Typhoon She loved it. It'd need the stock tires because these are 40, not 45 aspect ratio and look like they rubbed inside the wheelwell near the suspension. But they are looking to screw us on trading the Jeep anyway so...

Typhoon Hope it goes well and you can get them to a reasonable value on the Jeep. The car industry seems to have choked the supply enough that whatever the demand, people are willing to pay MSRP or worse and take out a 7 year loan.

johnnydoom I hate buying a car. We don't need one really, she is getting tirder of the Jeep. She never takes the roofs off, complains its too high... My day job gives be a car allowance and gas. I am currently using my MIL's 2007 lexus so the car allowance is money in the bank. BUT, they want me in a newer car... I keep ignoring them. So we'd have a car payment, a newer vehicle if dump the Jeep, 2012 vs 2019 SRT and around 60K less miles. I wish she never saw the truck. It has every option except Towing. The interior is incredible and its a rocket ship.

Although a son of the south, I officially joined the ranks of true southern peasants and had a tomato sandwich (tomato, mayo, salt, pepper). It's not as good as a BLT, but really was quite tasty in it's own right.

I’m told by my golf buddy who is from Florida that for the tomato sandwich you must use Duke’s mayonnaise. I’m a Hellman’s guy myself.

Growing up in New England I used to love when in late summer the road side farms would have tomatoes 🍅. They seem to have bred the flavor right out of the tomatoes here in Florida.

I’d rather have a nice tomato than a piece of roast beef. Another thing I miss besides the seafood from up north.

Me too. Looks like I'm about to though. Just got a call from the insurance. They want to call the truck a total loss and offered me about what it would be worth in un-wrecked condition. I'm sure they've analyzed the situation and decided they can resell the truck as is and still come out less than the repair costs. Think I'm going to take the offer, wrangle up some additional cash to get something newer and go see what I can find.

The Lexus IS an es350 but I look like one of 90 year olds… it’s silver of course, like every other Lexus in a parking lot.

WFH today. Guys just showed up to remove our wall oven and install a double oven....the wife always makes sure I spend twice as much as necessary. Of course the electrician now can't make it until much later today. Got golf league tonight. We won the first half and now we're in the cellar for the 2nd half lol.
