My day is off to an excellent start 🙁.
Mowed two-thirds of the lawn. Mower ran out of gas, so went inside to drink some water and cool off a bit. Went back outside, grabbed the gas can, went to the lawnmower and saw that the gas cap is gone! Either I didn't put it back on, or someone in the neighborhood decided to prank me while I was getting a drink. The boy and I searched the yard several times and couldn't find it Looks like Amazon has a generic replacement which should be here Thursday - hope it fits. Went to get my load of laundry from last night out of the dryer and the clothes were still wet. Started the dryer and no drum rotation. Sounds like the motor is running, so the belt probably slipped off the pulley or broke! Be dragging the dryer out of the laundry closet and disassembling later while the ribs are smoking. Oh well, probably needs a good cleaning and dust removal from the interior and exhaust hose since I haven't done either in several years. I did find someone's house and car keys in the grass while looking for the gas cap. Now I'll have to post a sign and see if anyone comes to claim them.
