Boring times so maybe a highlight or 2. Usual hour workout at 9 am. Went out and swing the Superspeed clubs and my driver .

Work. Mowed the lawn. Picked the first tomato of the year from the garden and it has no critter bites or other problems. Looks like a couple more will be ready by the end of the week. Picked it a tad early as I could only see the bottom of it, which is fully red. If things hold up, it looks like we'll get more tomatoes off of any one plant than we did last year from all 8 of them. Should be a bumper crop with 10 plants fairly loaded and still adding more blossoms and fruit. More work, and then drive the church bus and attend bible study class tonight.

I just read all my labs, but won't see the doctors for probably 6 weeks to get their diagnosis. The CT scan basically shows no evidence of diverticulitis infection and no obvious reasons for my symptoms. Blood work was all normal. I think it might just be a bacterial bug from something I ate? Doc prescribed two antibiotics that treat diverticulitis, so I'm on those for 10 days. I won't get a stool sample until tomorrow at the earliest since my first meal since yesterday AM was just now. Thanks for the invite to chat. I'll take you up on it if needed.👍

P.S. there is a 3.6cm cyst on my left kidney. I called my urologist and promoted him to grab the images.

Put a second coat of Pittsburgh Paint Revitalize on the deck with a roller. Hotter than hell, so I soaked my T-shirt in
cold water and put it on.....after the initial shock, it was pretty comfortable working.

Another rainy day, but not complaining as it has been very dry.

The course I am playing Monday has very firm greens and might appreciate the impact of the rain.

Indoor work day......mainly garage. Unfortunately, we probably need more storage meaning lumber purchases and the saws and drills come out. Another project. 😢

On my way to meet up with some fellow Mustang owners to take a road trip to Eureka Springs, AR for a car event, I hit something small but heavy on the road. Bent my wheel. 🙁 No trip for me until tomorrow. Looks like I already missed a good photo op.

Too familiar with this from potholes in Michigan. Thankfully, no longer an issue.

Picked up wife, daughter, and granddaughter at the Detroit airport on their return from NYC. Got into a 3 lane, bumper-to-bumper traffic gridlock on I-75 driving up there, but luckily GPS was able to guide me to an alternate
route, during rush hour no less. Good to have them back, but I've already lost control of the tv remote, etc., etc., etc......

That is surprising. I hit a pothole that trashed my wheel and suspension and my wheel looked perfect, but they couldn't seem to get it fixed right and finally replaced it.

Yes, I had a similar incident a few years ago that also cracked one of the spokes. They welded the crack and I drove on it for at least 2 years afterwards before selling those wheels. Here's a pic of the outside of the wheel, which has no damage.

Maybe yours was a more severe impact since it also caused suspension damage. Or maybe the shop didn't have the right tools and/or expertise. I go to a place that specializes in wheel repair and refinishing.

MidwayJ True, the pothole didn't feel any worse than others I've hit in my 40 years of driving, but it was the first time I had to replace more than a tire....so much for German engineering. The shop sent the wheel to a place that specializes in fixing them, but for some reason they couldn't get it right. The car had a relatively minor shake that went away with a new wheel.
