Anyone play with an open stance? Bubba Watson comes to mind. He hits cuts and draws with it. I've been using it for a while with good results. Works bes...

I like an open stance at times; seems to help me make a 3/4 swing. Use it a lot with shorter irons and wedges. Only on longer clubs when hitting out of the rough or when the lie is uneven.....so pretty much everywhere on my home course. Can't seem to make it work with driver or 3w though.

Bruce doesn't look like he has an open stance, looks pretty square, he just comes over the top.

azgreg I was a bigger fan of Bruce Lietzke's swing.

The Lietzke video I posted was in response to azgreg. I'd agree Lietzke was square. I would think most open stance players are faders in general not all. Double cross hook it OB left. lol

That was me yesterday. It was so darn windy and I hit a few pull draws at the wrong time.

I played today with the open stance (except irons). Great results again with the driver and woods. Crushed the driver. Can hit draws and fades.
Also, 3 of us played 18 in 2 hours and 50 minutes. This single cart thing is the answer to slow play. Need to invent a single golf cart.

Sneakylong Last time I went I saw three people zipping around on what looked like motorcycles, but their golf bags were angled up from under the seat with the bag opening towards the handle bars. Don’t know who made them but they sure looked cool.

I saw a piece about those Finn Cycles last year. Looked cool and the demo showed people using them. Never heard anything after that.
