JIMENGAZ1 Thanks Jim,
Dreadful problem first showed up with my sand wedge but has spread , just how far , I'm not sure , but pretty sure it's through out the bag. I've got 4 acres, so my front yard lawn has a golf hole complete with flag and divots. Issue has come and gone in small doses of late, and but last week suddenly become so bad, I couldn't make a shot , period . So I asked for advice here. Certainly , there's a lot of knowledge and willingness to help . Obviously flaws have slipped into my swing or setup that I must find and remove , probably more than one . So far, I've moved away from ball ,set up with ball near club toe, hinged club more upright /vertical at to of back swing, trying to keep head down, swinging through ball & not at it and moved where I aim to strike the ball inside of where it actually sits. Hit pitch shots about an hour and had maybe two sh##ks. Big improvement and maybe I regressed to old swing on bad hits . I don't think I'm properly returning my hands to the same place as at address allowing them to pull outward as I swing through impact, thus hitting with the heel or worse . Your board drill may be what I need to keep my hands in the right place on impact . I've been trying the towel under my left armpit which may help too.
I'm about to wear out fighting this but at least now , I can feel confident that I can win out.
Thanks very much for all the good advice . It is much appreciated !
