azgreg yep...wheels look huge.....sure it's easy to push! My only hesitation would be having to balance...seems like it would be harder work vs. a 3 wheeler, but ?

I have always seen a 2-wheel cart as a "pull cart" and 3 or 4 as a "push cart".

Sure, you can push a 2-wheeler as well, but it is likely to at some point, tip too far upright and the base will dig into the turf and you run into the handle or worse (depending on how much you are paying attention). ;-)

Back in the day, before they had come out with the 3-wheelers, I knew a guy who did that constantly! We used
to take bets before a round on "how many times Ted will run into his own cart...?!!"

I picked up this Sun Mountain Speed Cart today. Really good shape for the age. Owned by a lady who barely used it. $40 talked down from $50. Older model that was missing a couple of features I wanted but a quality cart.

Matty, the Sun Mountain features like brake levers/clamps and drink/umbrella holders used to be available from them as after-purchase add-ons. My Speed Cart was the original and it was stripped down. I was able to order and bolt on all their bells and whistles 2 years later. Don't know if that is still the case.

I have a 3 Wheeled Bag boy that works great. Have had it for close to a decade. Think craigslist or PIAS would be a good place to find one on the cheap.

Looks good! The only suggestion I have would be to replace the pneumatic tires with Solid tires. A buddy had one with pneumatic tires and it had a habit of catching a flat at the most inconvenient times. Probably not worth the effort unless you use it a bunch.

Yeah, I had a 'brand-X' 3 wheeler with pneumatic tires that I bought on Ebay, and the tires were horrible. Had
to inflate them before EVERY round..... :o(

Thanks Steve. I had few things laying around in the garage that I have already added too it. I had a small mesh bag that has now been attached and another pouch that was for a bike that fits on it now. The only thing I need is a bigger cup holder. I just ordered a universal cup holder that can be clamped on from Amazon for less than $12 shipped. I shold have a spot for all of my odds and ends. Not too mention a whole golf bag that has tons of pockets that will be sitting on top of it. This one had some things already on it. Umbrella holder and it still had the original tire pump in perfect working condition. All and all I am very happy. Your post about Sun Mountain above is why I went with this model. Thank you!

Sounds like you're all set. The only difficulty I had with mine over the years was the occasional flat tire. I think I ended up finding heavy duty tire tubes IIRC, that solved the problem.

I had a two wheeled cart with 20" bicycle wheels on it that I constantly had issues with. I found some "airless" replacement tires that fit the original rims. They were some kind of foam material that supposedly gave the same kind of ride as air tires. They were a bit of a PITA to stretch on but I never had another tire issue.
