oysters are the only thing that is slimy on the list if you eat them on the half shell.
i recall having some pretty big feasts in Myrtle on them, with vodka and/or hot sauce poured on them.
escargot have the consistency of cooked mushrooms
Beef tongue is fantastic but I haven't had it in decades . My mom used to make some killer dishes with it. Where we lived nobody ate liver and tongue and so we would get it for essentially free as our neighbours owned the local grocery store.
brains . Mom would deep fry in batter thinly sliced beef or veal brains ( that again were essentially free since nobody else wanted so were usually just ground into head cheese). They were to die for, so tender and with her batter .....yum. I brought a plate over to my buddy's house who had 3 sisters and they tried them, loved them until I told them what it was ....
