scotts33 LOL, I am hearing impaired, but I do know what drivers sound like. And I know what they feel like. Feel is when the head contacts the ball, where a sound will follow. Not the same thing. Not at the same time. An impossibility, by physics.
Anticipation of that loud, tinny, ringing noise, is making everyone miss the feel.
People who are bothered by the 'sound' probably have no 'feel'. They are expecting/anticipating the sound, and the feel will be bypassed mentally. They all need to try an experiment where they stuff their ears, letting no sound in at all. They will be shocked as to how their driver actually feels. And THAT will be the end of many drivers. Some, maybe most, will feel like a rock, where they have been blaming the ball they use. When they feel that ball turn to mush as it's hit, ears plugged, that is not the ball, that is the 'feel' of the head.
