I've had 3 instances with basil cells on my face or chest that were all biopsied and found negative, thank God. The most recent was about 18 months ago with my new dermatologist checking on an ugly growth my wife pestered me into having checked out. So, I've been in to see her on 6-month intervals keeping old and new growths in check including numerous moles all over my body.
She did discuss with me on the last visit her recommendation to cleanse my face of dead cells via chemical foliation.
The appointment to go over this and get the RX for the cream was coming up in a couple of weeks so I contacted her assistant today to learn about the length of time for the regime and the recovery times. I was looking at my calendar and I've planned a trip to Texas the 3rd week of March to play golf with clients and go to the Match Play Championship down in Austin later in the week.
Would I be able to play golf on this trip to TX I asked? The assistant almost instantaneously wrote back, "can you be in here at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday so we can get this started for you?"
Has anyone else been through this procedure? Did you feel it was worthwhile to go through? I just don't hear much about it so it must not be too common.
