candukid and now back to our show.... Kelco...if you like short heavy FW then I think you would like these. I think I am going to play well with these clubs for one simple reason: I play the ball in the same place for all my irons...mid stance. No shifting the lower irons toward my front foot etc. The only time I play the ball back in my stance is when I am chipping or sand blasting
candukid Well I took the 5,8,4h and AW out. I shit you not. I parked at the 100yd marker into a slight breeze. Hit 5 balls and put all of them within15 feet of the pin with the AW. Went back to 135 (8) and put 2 of 5 on green and the other 3 just right. Back to 165 with 5 iron and hit green twice and other 3 were just in front. Cannot wait to assemble the rest tonight and play 9 tomorrow. These thiings WORK for me. I've never been that accurate with my gap wedge. I have some slight bending to do on the 8 but overall I am VERY impressed!
Release candukid Very excited for you. Am surprised that you had never been better with your short irons though, the old wedge must have not been fitted to you.
candukid gone thru a few wedges in my time... One thing I notice is that it is so easy to swing. There isn't that 300+ gram hunk of metal sitting at the end of a short shaft...
Release candukid Okay, I had learned never to say never, like I'm leaning over to the GI irons now, Up until a few years ago, you could not give me a set of the GI irons. This might be the next set of irons in the future .

raggmann54 How are the shafts tip trimmed? All identical and then butt-trimmed to length or are the tips trimmed as per a "standard" set of irons then butt-trimmed to length???
DTG-HUR-JASON You cut them all the same from the tip (7 iron generically) and butt trim to same length on all..in theory....
