You can tell a lot about a man whose work bench looks like Rick's. Mine looks worse. 😀

I see you still have the ole MentorSports Triad II Rick!

Scott, that is just a table I was using to clean out my golf bag and sort my golf goodies. I have three other benches piled deep with tools and other assorted crap. 😛

The salvaged door table top is classic. I have one too.

        DonM You went all in.

"Santa" went all in and got me the whole set. I don't know if the 3,4, & 5 will work but will know soon.

My wife wanted a taller and large table to wrap Christmas gifts years ago and I had a 36" used door. I put the folding legs on it and turned some wooden dowels down to fit inside the legs to raise the height of the table. It is nice to have a large surface to use for various projects when you need it. I also used a 36" new door slab to make my wife a desk by getting two cheap 2-drawer file cabinets as the base. She has her PC on it and it gives her lots of room as well.

You just described MY "desk." I've had it in the basement for years.....works great!!

How about a pic of those other benches if you're feeling up for it? 😂

On second thought, might be too much of a threadjack!

I’m hitting more greens with my Vertex irons. The SKF shaft is soft and high launching. Very high. It’s helping me hold the rock hard greens here at my course.

One sign they are too soft for me is that 70, 80, 90, and 100 percent swings all go the same distance, but with different heights. It’s strange, but I kinda like it. Eventually I’ll have to find a better fitting shaft, because it’s hard to actually take yards off the swing. Also I get some lateral variation that seems to be more the shaft than the swing. I want to try the same shaft in S.

Overall I am loving having the same distance from ball for all irons. It’s really helping me.

I got my Vertex out on the range Sunday. I haven't swung a club since Oct. and the rust was very evident. My swing felt awful as were the results. So, new heads, new shafts I hadn't hit before and rustly = total crap. As I probably posted earlier I installed some KBS Tour 90 R Satins and I have never tried them and the tip trimming was kind of a crap shoot. I have been using FST 115 for many years and I should have put them in the Vertex first and may still do that. In general the trajectory for them in the Vertex were much lower than expected. A better test would be a shaft I am familiar with or wait until the rust is worked off. One thing after hitting them a few times, I am having doubts that this geezer will have much luck with the 3, 4, & 5 iron. We will see. Golf wx will be here soon.

I know you got the full set from Santa, but for me there is no reason to try the longer part of the set. I am pretty satisfied with the PH 5 hybrid. I built the 4H last night. I'm pretty sure that last year James @customgolfcenter told me the Pinhawk hybrids are best of the breed.

The full set of Pinhawk SL hybrids have been around several years but I don't think I have ever seen a review or comment about the full set. I have the Titleist 816 H1 hybrids up to 27° that are wonderful. I can dial the 27 up to 29°. I may pick up a Pinhawk SL hybird AW to tinker with. 😁
