Rolex Rankings Movers of the Year

With the LPGA taking a 1 week break I would like to take this opportunity to take a look at the players that have taken the biggest leaps, and the biggest falls in the Rolex Rankings in 2016. I last did this back in May when the season was just 1/3 over. Now we have completed about 75% of the schedule, and things have changed dramatically.

Release

It seems there were more new stars in the Ladies Professional Golf than the man's.
Surprised the decline of Michel Wei's ranking. Maybe she'll retire after Nike's contract is gone.

Release pretty sad to see the state of US women's golfers this year . The Korean women simply out work the US women. Wie, Cramer, Gulbis, all amaze me how they get these big contracts with so little achievement the past 3 years. I don't see allot of great young US players coming up either. I thought Allison Lee had game, but nothing . Pillar try's hard but can't finish.

With Wie, I think her parents pushed her too hard

Michelle is just a shell of player she once was. Almost sad to watch.

Too many injuries plus the fact she no longer has that smooth natural swing she had back some 10 years ago. She has become so mechanical it hard to watch her. At 14 years of age I believe only Annika Sorenstam had a higher ranking.

I think Gerina Pillar is a serious talent, and I don't think we've seen everything that she can and will do. I expect her to continue to compete at the highest level over the next few seasons.
