Rickochet Yeah, I used to build my LD clubs and go a flex stiffer for every extra inch. Never worked out for me. I ended up going longer but not stiffer and it worked out better.
The key to using the Ultralight heads is to NOT go stiffer, go softer because the heads are so light the lightness makes the shaft stiffer. I remember you talking about hitting the 175 gram head. I still have the Cobra Long Tom, stiff flex which Ive been trying to sell... still has the stickers on it and I can't even get anyone at $85.
