Cleaning goo off clubs

What's your preferred method of getting goo and gunk off clubs? For example, the shit that's left behind after you remove a price tag or shaft badge or something like that.

I've used nail polish remover for steel shafts and it's meh...

Major headache. But I've used mineral spirits and it works.

In the 1st place, never remove those stickers without 1st using a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen them.(also the method for removing labels from boxes to be reused for shipping)

But, since you're asking after-the-fact, .....WD-40 will take it off in a few swipes with a cloth.

Goo Gone is a great product but I hate the smell and you can't hardly wash it off of your hands.

If the area you use mineral spirits might later get a shaft label be sure to remove the mineral spirits residue with acetone or the label won't stick.

I've had good results with naptha.

I use a heat gun to remove stickers, price tags. If there is any glue left behind I use grip solvent, paint thinner or gasoline.

Do we really need to hear about the goo on your club? Use a washcloth and keep this subject in the privacy of your shower from now on.🥴

On stubborn stuck on goo, I use DeSolve It. Works great and smells like citrus.

Oh my! Silly boys. I'm quite surprised with such knowledgeable folks. WD-40 works like a charm. Spray it on and rub it off with an old pot-scrubber sponge.
