skymarker Get your solvent at Home Depot (mineral spirits). And just buy your grip tape online, unless you want to buy in bulk from a local tape distributor. Hireko's Dynacraft Professional tape is really good stuff @ $9.45/roll retail. If you aren't ordering anything else from Hireko and don't want to pay $6.95 shipping for a roll of tape, Amazon actually sells it for $11-$12 w/free prime shipping. It's priced at $18.03 right now, but that's just one of their weird random price fluctuations, it's normally around $11-$12. www.amazon.com/dp/B00NRBF98M/
They also sell their "budget" tape on Amazon for $6.95 w/free prime shipping, but I don't like that stuff at all. It has stringy edges, is super thin so it's hard to handle without it sticking to itself, doesn't stick to the shaft very well (you really need to squeeze in on there tight all the way around before putting on solvent or it'll peel away when you pull the grip on), it doesn't get very well lubricated even after soaking it in solvent, and it dries so fast that you barely have time to straighten the grip after putting it on. It is probably the worst tape I have ever used, and this is coming from someone who has gripped over 100,000 clubs in my life. If you want to give that a try go ahead, but you have been warned: www.amazon.com/dp/B00J0XTZZO (ignore all the older 5-star reviews, those are from before they recently changed it to the new super-thin tape)
