The drivers that have worked for me have been higher & rearward COG models. I use the MyGolfSpy COG reports to identify them. That's how I ended up with the TM M4. According to MGS, (bold referring to me):

we believe that the widest part of the bell curve will achieve the best results with relatively high MOI and low-mid CG drivers. Slower swing speed players, who need help keeping the ball in the air, generally do well with high/back designs. Golfers who are in desperate need of spin reduction (often aggressive swingers who hit down on the ball), will likely get better results with low and forward CG drivers, even at the expense of forgiveness. High MOI isn’t for everyone. For golfers who consistently hit the ball high on the face, a higher CG driver may produce better results, while golfers who habitually strike the ball low on the face will likely benefit from lower CG clubs.

In other places they have a diagram which shows that higher COG yields higher spin, and lower COG lower spin. But those can vary with the front to rear location too. There is a lot of great data in their reports, five years worth at the moment.

DonM I find MGS for the most part great information source Don. I don't always agree with indoor LM's or simulators to real world outdoor golf. 519SHPR dropped my already high spin numbers and gave me lower launch 11.5* GRT face to a 919THI lower CG 11.5* same shaft same GRT loft same face angle. Baked out fairways now I get more considerable roll out distance vs. spring when wet. I find the same performance with a Alpha V2 400cc head to the 519SHPR.

Resurrecting this thread again. Any more feedback? Anyone got one for sale? Since I'm loving my sterlings and 919 F/D, maybe I need a wishon driver too. I have tried a 919 in the past but found it too high spinning. Currently play a Callaway mavrik sz and love it but always looking to ho something else lol.

I've got an 11* bent 2* open, that I'd sell for $90 shipped. It's excellent.....have played on course only a handful of rounds. Has more of a penetrating flight and is forgiving for it's size. Has a nice appearance at address, definitely smaller footprint then the modem driver. If interested I'll get some pics up.

Well, time for a quick review of this club.

The build:

Wishon 519 SHPR, 11 deg, 210g, Project X 8b4 6.5 ,44"

This club is really growing on me and slowly replacing my gamer Callaway Mavrik Sub zero. Its my go to driver on most holes unless its a wide open fairway. Playing it heavier and shorter makes its easier to handle and its just point and shoot. I tee it low and slightly back in the stance and I can hit low spin, low launch rockets even though its an 11 deg. Sound and feel is very similar to the mavrik. I have always liked smaller drivers and play a mini driver too (SLDR mini) and this driver is the perfect blend at 400cc.

Compared to the mavrik sz, I would say it is less forgiving, lower spining and lower launching. However, due to the smaller and heavier head and shorter shaft, its easier to control directionally and make better contact. So, its easier to make centre contact but when I miss, there's a noticeable distance loss vs the mavrik (15-20 yards) on similar mishits. On perfect strikes it performs very similarly to the mavrik.

Overall its a fantastic looking, feeling, sounding and performing driver and I would highly recommend it, especially if you want to look at something a bit smaller at address. Since it's not adjustable, if you like to tinker a lot with loft and face angle, then it won't work. I am someone that typically plays all my adjustable drivers at neutral anyways so it was a non-issue.

One more thing, if anyone has a 9 deg head, this ho can't say no lol...
