All hybrid bag

Does anyone play with an all hybrid bag? Just curious how it is working for you.

north-bc Closest I came I played Adams v3 hybrid iron set. The 4,5,6 were hybrids but the 7-gw were freaking huge might as well be hybrids. That experiment lasted about 3 rounds. I didn’t like it. Turf interaction was a problem for me. Just too chunky. I switched to rogues but still carry an adams v3 #4 Hybrid. I have a buddy that has a Cleveland hibore iron set. He parked those in the garage for some ping g15s so his experiment didn’t last either

I have a new set of Cleveland HB Launcher irons, graphite shafts, regular flex, 4-GW and I love them.
I did swap the GW for a Cleveland CBX wedge and loved it so much that I went for 2 more. The dual sole design helped my wedge game tremendously and I sold 4 different sets of wedges I had accumulated. I've never been able to hit a 4/5/6 iron and all my sets in the past started in my bag with a 7 iron. Not anymore, this set I hit all the clubs.....the smoother the longer, the better. I needed something to improve my trajectory and get more loft in the air. These worked so I sold my 2 sets of Cobra S3 irons and used the money to help buy these. Still have my famous, most long, special firm flex Integra Sooo Long Power Bar irons perfected by Landon Black, won't ever get rid of them. Now whether to keep that set of Wilson D200s I bought new in steel 2-GW......decisions, decisions.....

I have a set of Acer XDS React hybrids 3 thru SW. I haven't hit them in years but I remember these being some really hot faced heads. I do recall I had trouble with chipping distance control as the ball really jumps off of the face. An interesting thing with these is that the leading edge has no offset and actually has some onset. I have hung on to these for years thinking that they might come in handy when I get older. I turn 70 soon and I dug them out of bin last week to reshaft.

I played a set of PowerPlay Select 5000 hybrids down to the SW. They are outstanding clubs.

Years ago I broke my right hand and wrist. After all healed I went back to playing golf. Found it hurt a lot to hit irons with the downward strike, which sent shock waves through my hand, wrist and elbow. About that time the Jumbo Tour Series 948C hit the component market - driver through a 19 wood at 45. I bought a set and shafted them with graphite shafts and learned to sweep the ball from the fairway. Was great for me. I now play the Integra Idrive Hybrids - my bag consists of driver, 5 wood, 7 wood cut to a 9 wood length, Taylormade Burner 5 and 6 hybrid and the 7-8-9-pw Idrive hybrid. I do carry a Cleveland 42 C Wedge and 56* Sand Wedge. This works for me...

I wonder what shafts are being used on the current .335 iron replacements? For instance a 50 degree 21 wood.
