Sneakylong Oh yeah, Brady is definitely pissed. Hard to believe there's not somebody out there that could help them at WR. A guy who was cut but is better than they have now? The Lions picked up Bo Scarbrough (sp) he was cut by 3 teams yet he's been a Godsend to them. Got to be somebody who's slipped through the cracks? Although if they don't protect Brady better it won't matter.

If the Patriots go anywhere in the playoffs with the offense they have now, then the defense has to really play well. Averaging 18 points a game isn't going to cut it in the playoffs. From what I understand it was Kraft's decision to get rid of Brown. I'd bring him back and force the NFL's hand as to whether he gets suspended.

With teams double covering Edelman the other receivers need to step up. But again the offensive line is suspect this year. They're on their 3rd string center and a rookie left tackle. So, the offense has issues and we'll see how it goes. They have at Cincinnati next, followed by Buffalo and Miami at home.

Sneakylong yea, they're going have to be able to score 20 + points in the playoffs to get by KC and Baltimore no matter how good the defense plays. You're not holding those teams under 20

59 minutes into the game and the suckage is equal on the scoreboard. I haven’t watched it - ordinarily a 17-17 game late is my kind of game though.

Brady loved him because he could get open. With the offensive line they have Brady needs someone to get open / separation fast and Brown can do that. Also, he wasn't allowed to talk to the media after the game. His main problem is he can't stay off social media. I'd bring him back and tell him to stay off social media until the end of the season.

professor I saw the score at 0.49 to go in the game and it was tied. If both teams were said to suck, then they sucked equally for 98.5% of the game to that point. If you mean my comment about the game being the type I normally like, that was purely based upon the amount and evenness of the scoring. I prefer watching games where the teams have to struggle a bit to score. In this case I don't know if that was due to ineptitude or if both teams played well on defense - so that was just speculation on my part. I felt as though I may have missed a good game while attending an activity my daughter was participating in and that was the stimulus for that comment. BTW I'm neither a fan nor hater of either team. The only team I care about is the Titans and the only teams I generally root against are the other teams in their division. I will happily root against the Cowboys just because it seems to be the thing these days - I'd hate to miss out on whatever fun that brings.

The game was a tale of two halves - for both teams. The Eagles were absolutely pathetic in the first half and could not get out of their own way on both offense and defense. Philly's offense being so inept they made the Giants defense look good. Eli was slinging it and burning Philly's defense badly.
Second half - The Eagles defense shut down the Giants. The Eagles offense got even more banged-up and lost both Alshon Jefferey and Lane Johnson (WR and RT). Wentz had what appeared to have only Zach Ertz as an experienced skill position player, rookie RB Miles Sanders got nicked-up and missed some time. Down 17-3 Wentz played masterfully, in full desperation mood (yeah, I know it was the Giants). But, this little 5'6" 4th team running back, Boston Scott, came out of nowhere and went off. And, with that spark, Wentz rallied the Eagles with 3 touchdowns to win on the first possession of overtime. Eagles fans went from thoughts of jumping off the Ben Franklin bridge to visions of Super Bowls dancing in their heads. In a broad sweeping generalization - Eagles fans tend to be rather Bipolar.

All he has to do is behave for a handful of games. Probably not going to happen, but look for Odel Beckham Jr. or Amari Cooper to be a Patriot next year.

Amari Cooper is a high character guy who would be a great addition to the Patriots offense. The Patriots have one of the worst set of receivers in the NFL.

HC Andy Reid - KC Griefs - For all his bad raps, he was masterful on the sideline Sunday vs. the Brady Bunch imho. Mahomes bangs his right-hand bruising it so his passes were uncharacteristically short hopping open receivers a couple of series in the first quarter. Reid flips a switch and I sensed the mid-half game plan change. On most pass plays after pushing a couple of different buttons, KC went to short outs and deployed the 'over the top of the linebackers' to Kelce or Tyrek Hill. They downshifted to a ball-control offense to reduce Brady's possessions knowing they were no longer be going to be able to race up n down the field in a scoring free for all. Mahomes did connect on one long pass a little later to keep NE's D Backs from cheating up but the receiver had to come back for the ball that was way underthrown to make the catch. I'd have given Reid the game ball.
