mikeintopeka I'm the same way. I didn't even cry when my grandparents died, though I did get a bit misty (not teary) when we put our cat down last year. I did have tears come to my eyes last year when I hit my thumb with a sledgehammer when renovating my kitchen, but all the swearing scared the tears away, I think.
It doesn't bother me when women cry in front of me, but I get really uncomfortable when men cry. I know it's not right thinking; it's just the way I am. I used to cry too easily when I was younger (high school age). It wasn't sad things that would set me off, it would be when I was really angry or frustrated. I'll tear up a bit now and then when things are sad, but I was in high school the last time I actually cried tears, and I graduated in 1980, so....
