north-bc Looking at building up my grips as an experiment, but looking at using tennis overwraps (nobody carries anything am interested in around here). Anyone ever do this and what were your results. Thanks, Todd
fatshot north-bc I used it on a putter grip I wanted to keep several years ago. Because of constantly taking it in and out of the bag though, I had to replace it 2 or 3 times over the season. Felt great, but didn't hold up so well, IMO.....
ZWExton Are you talking about going over your existing grips with tennis racket grip tape? Interesting idea and a cheap experiment. I wonder if consistency in application would be an issue through a whole set. Easy enough to try on one club, for sure.
Rickochet sdandrea1 Yes. It works great. I have used white adhesive (medical) tape as well. I think Verplank does that on his putter.
mulegolf A pro suggested that I try wrapping the bottom 4" of a couple of grips to see if I benefit from using grips that don't taper much (or at all). It worked pretty well.
