agreed, they are ALL about fun, fundraising and social interaction. Pace is not a primary concern. Ive played in some with 2 groups on every hole, lots of beginners that have been 5+++++ hours... you dont go in these if you cant accept a slower pace. However, the 3 ive played this year, none have exceeded 4:40 🙂
slowest round in recent memory was last years tip and tuck....play from 7700 yards, pins all tucked in the most difficult spits, on steep ridges or ridiculous corners etc.....oh, and add 30-35 mph winds if that wasnt hard enough !!!!! that took well over 5.5....amazingly, -7 won it
