Anybody try their wedges yet? Just bought the non-conforming version in 52 and 56 degrees, hope to get em in next week and try em out. I don’t play tournaments, so I’m not concerned with legality.........

Never heard of them, but then again, I'm really not much into the various type wedges. I did buy a new Mack Daddy 4, but have only used it a couple hits; nice wedge that I stole for 1/2 of what the Indi costs. Then again, it only has 1/2 the grooves.😄

Looks like a lot of spin forthcoming for you. Looks nice!

Yeah, I don’t spin the ball like I used to. The fact that I use a not so spinny ball doesn’t help, but I still like that ball for distance and low side spin (Bridgestone E6 Speed). Maybe these wedges will help my short game.....

I have the Callaway X forged wedges, the first ones. Spin is nuts. I'll never give them up, I'd get $10 a club on trade anyway. Screw that. I have he 52, 56, 60 and 64. I could spin the ball back on a friggin skating rink with these.

JeffTilley I wonder how it's going to affect the covers? I've picked quite a few 'white hairs' out of grooves, with just normal clubs/grooves, not just wedges.

I've heard that about those wedges, just can't seem to find any that aren't used up.

A couple reviews I read or saw said they will skin up softer covers. Lucky me since I don't use premium balls much.

JeffTilley I don't know if those wedges EVER get used up Jeff. Mine still tear the cover off the ball. I have them in the spare bag and went with the pm grind Callaway wedges so I could get less spin.

I found the covers on Pro v1 to be the premium ball cover most resistant to having " hairy balls". The harder balls were really bad.

Well, used these wedges today with Taylormade Project A balls and wow! My playing partners were saying “holy shit” all day, lol. When chipping, if you clip a ball just right, these things just flat stop. Had one 70 yard shot that spun back 10 feet. Balls weren’t shredded, looked fine. This grind works great for me too, I love it. The feel is nice, hell, what’s not to love about these wedges other than the price?

I have the 50 54 and 58.... I acquired the heads then added aerotech fc 90 shafts.
I have only hit 5 shots with the 50, so I'll probably see if I can get a 60
Mine are also sting ray heads...They do put the brakes on
