Does "almost" count?
Took advice from here and looked for a preowned Ping G400 driver to update my SLDR. Thought I found one in the marketplace and the location was supposed to be within 25 miles from my location. Arranged to pick up the driver yesterday. Exchanged the location and cell numbers and vehicle color.........
For some reason I called the owner as I was backing out of the garage. Since I need to GPS the location and there are several of the local chain stores with one temporarily closed.
Upon answering he said, Oh, I thought it was tomorrow? Glad you called.
So I headed back in and double checked the messages between the two of us and I seriously could not see why he would presume a day later than the time we had agreed.
Anyways, I messaged many times want him to confirm the location and he sent back a map link which is 47 miles away. I know the place since there used to be a link style golf course before the City decided to build a warehouse complex on it.
Just too many things didn't click, either he did not have the driver, or the driver was in bad shape or he had second thought about selling it... Who knows.
I messaged him to pass on this one. Didn't have a good feeling when he delayed replies and not firm on where to meet up.....
I have plenty of drivers, Will look into re-shaft a couple. so I might order a few driver shafts instead.
