Eating crow here. Jesse (grandson) says:
"PapaD, you should buy one of those knockoff LAB DF3. If you don't like it, I'll buy it off you"
PapaD says: "I'll cave. If I don't like it, I'll give it to you".
I used it today over 18 holes. It's a little light. Ball goes EXACTLY where you're aiming. I hit the center every time so I don't know what the "Zero" torque gets me. Distance control is excellent. There was no adjustment period. I did make 2 birdies today, but I cannot say for sure if I putt better with this than my Odyssey; I certainly did not putt any worse. I will continue to give it a chance to stay in the bag.
In my own defense, I think I said I'd never pay $600 for a "real" one.š
P.S. not sure how I feel about the offset grip. Tempted to put a FLATSO on it.
