Saw a good deal on a barely-used Orlimar Intercept Single-Length iron set (R-flex steel) on FB Marketplace and couldn't pass it up. Can't seem to get away from SL irons.
Doing some research, these were/are put out by Hireko. They have "Orlimar 95" shafts by Apollo. After getting them in hand I wondered if they are the Apollo Acculite 95 shafts of old (I still have 2 of the OG shafts with the silk-screened graphics). Sure enough, the steps match up so it's probably pretty certain. I guess I could ask Jeff Summitt to be sure...
Might play these a bit and tinker in the offseason (spine-align, change grips, check headweights, have loft/lies checked, reshaft if necessary, etc.)
