So I called Edwin Watts a little while ago to check on the putter they ordered for me on March 1st. I called on the 12th and was told by the guy who ordered it that it was heading to production that week.
Said he’d call me when it came in. The guy I talked to today said it came in on the 13th.🙄 He said they made a phone call. I never saw a phone call.
Where is the initiative in today’s workforce? I worked in my father’s sporting goods store from 1968-1979. Back then I would’ve made a call everyday especially knowing the customer wanted it as soon as possible.
My wife experiences this in her job. She’s seen the same lack of initiative with some of the people that work for her. Not sure what it is. I don’t care what you do for work, but take ownership of your job and do it to the best of your ability.
