Might be buying a 2017 on Sunday. Had a Golf R in mind and saw a 2018. They sell fast. Problem is the summer tires and my crappy New England weathers. I’m looking at maybe having to pick up new tires or tires/ wheels combo if I get the vw.
Wife does not like the vw. We put a refundable deposit on one yesterday just to hold it so we could drive it but I don’t really want it just because of the “ her” factor ( even though I’d drive it). So we’ve always liked the DD RT and looked real quick and saw one in the same town as the vw which happens to be 50 miles away...fate?? Even with the red interior that I could never find and black exterior. A few more miles than the vw but no snow worries, it’s CPO from a Dodge Dealer... So, we’ll see. I wanted something better on gas but I’m a sucker for the power and feel of a hemi. We had one in the SRT 8 Jeep but it was awful in snow and I didn’t want to but tires etc... My son the Rockstar has a 2006 Magnum RT with the 5.7 Hemi and I love it when I get to occasionally drive it. I’ll keep you posted....I’d want to tune it for some better mileage and of course more HP
