braveheart Thanks for your questions.
Yes, no longer on Oxy or Tramadol. Still taking 2000 mg of Tylenol. Now 3 1/2 weeks post surgery which went well. Going to PT twice a week and doing my exercises 2-3 times a day at home. My problem is with my range of motion knee flexion. Still extremely stiff and difficult to bend. I have good extension. First PT session, I was only at 52 flex. Next one was 62 and today 72. PT said I should be at at least 90 by now. Supposedly it’s a race against scar tissue building up which restricts the ability to flex. If I’m unable to reach 90 soon, my surgeon may have to administer anesthesia to manually flex my knee.
I can walk pretty well without a walker or cane. I’m motivated and working hard but a bit discouraged by the lack of knee flex.
Any insights/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Gary
