Thanks. Yeah, gotta be mindful of traffic on the street, birds, squirrels, etc. If I can get a year out of the batteries all things considered, I'll be impressed. I'll definitely have to be specific with what I need to capture in the viewing area, otherwise it'll pick up everything.
When yours gets triggered, how long do you have the setting for the recorded loop going? Since I'm going to have two of the cameras capturing the same general areas but at different angles, not sure I really need the full 60 seconds of recording time. I'm sure I'll figure it out.
One drawback is that I have a Mac home computer, and from everything I've read - I'm not going to be able to use it to play the recorded loops. I went online and downloaded the recommended emulator app suggested for Mac-based IOS, but turns out that it's not compatible.
My wife's iPad might be an option, but again - not sure. Might be one of those deals where I can only use my iPhone to play back the recorded footage.
