sdandrea1 I've been liking the Callaway Super Soft lately. Makes me think I really smashed it!
After going thru my experimental golf ball phase, the Callaway Super Soft and the Srixon Soft Feel are my top two. I'm done experimenting.
I've got a few Taylor Made Project S's and a dozen or so Callaway Chrome Softs left and then it's back to the Soft Feels and Super Softs. They're 1A and 1B for me. I have 3 dozen Srixon Soft Feels in my closet waiting to be put in play.
I also tried the new Callaway Magna which is built on the same platform as the Super Soft, but slightly larger. It performs the same and is marketed as being easier to hit off the turf with it's higher center of gravity.
My only concern was the extra size would be a problem leaving the pin in. But it wasn't a problem. They fell in the cup just fine.
Give me a nice soft feeling, low compression, 2 piece, lower spinning Surlyne ball and my game seems to shine.
