LPGA Best Swing

I watched the Augusta Women's Amateur and as a whole their swings are less idiosyncratic then what I've seen in the LPGA. On the LPGA, I think Jessica Korda has the best swing. Who is your pick?

LBlack14 I think he means they are not at all unique - all had the same athletic homogenized swing. That was my interpretation, anyway.

I think you see less distinctive swings on all the tours theses days. Not too many homemade swings like many did in the past. I guess I'd go with Lexi Thompson's swing. She comes out of her shoes with her all out steep swing. On the other end of the spectrum is Brooke Henderson with a shallow flat swing. Both work very well for each.

I guess we all have our own ideas of a what good swing is. To me, Lexi Thompson has one of the worst swings in professional golf. I hate it. It look so effortful. Amy Yang is the exact opposite. Smooth, yet powerful. I love watching her swing.

True. Best or good is very subjective. Plenty of pretty swings on all the tours who aren't up on the leader boards very often. Who has the most effective swing for me is more interesting.

Spuzz lol, she's athletic and fit, so she's got a leg up on 95%.

From the face on view her swing looked good IMO, the only thing that did not was the raising of the front foot, which I suspect she does instinctively to soften the blow from the huge lash she takes. I have been critical of how steep she gets thru impact, her wrists must take a pounding. She's gonna have to shallow out at some point, at least you'd think!

Not a sustainable swing for longevity for sure.
Not smooth either, so not pretty to look at.
Results are not bad, but that's not what this topic is about.

ode -- Not just the wrists. I suspect that her elbows and left shoulder take a real beating with that swing and the deep divots that Lexi takes.

I like Amy Olson's swing. For a 5'9" taller player she is very good at syncing it all up. If she was a bit better at driving accuracy and putting she would be more of a factor 34th right now on LPGA.

LBlack14 neither did Trevino, Floyd, Arnie, Player. I suppose Watson's was as close to pretty out of the that class. I think Penick had a good line about this topic!
