  • So I go to this place that sells used clubs

The drivers are $100 each... The others u can see the prices. They have a brand new set of eye2 irons with no price...
Never seen so much garbage in my life.
The Sounder irons are $150...

That is bizarro world right there. That Cobra Baffler that looks like it's been through a blender for 50 bucks? LOL.

I'll bet those Ping irons were 500 or more.

How does this place stay in business? Guess it just opened?

Did you talk to anyone about the outrageous prices? The person who owns this place clearly knows nothing about the equipment industry.

It's good comedy. Now you won't feel so bad the next time you ho something modern!

Maybe they sell to interior decorators that look for antiques to incorporate into the decor. Can’t see that anyone would pay that much for “distressed” classics to use unless there’s a big throwback league in the area.

They are obviously a money laundering front, no other reason they would have such a shitty business model.

When I firs saw the prices, I honestly thought maybe the pricing guy was foreign and had the decimal point in the wrong spot. That would make this all make some sense.

5 bucks for the ratty Cobra Baffler. 15.00 for the Sounder iron set. One of the pics you can see a driver, I think, priced at 95.00. Makes so much sense at 9.50.

Hey Typhoon, you should try to trade in some of your old stuff there - generally pawnshops will give about 50% retail value so maybe you can take advantage of his overpricing.

They HAVE used clubs for sale. I seriously doubt they are actually SELLING used clubs. What a bunch of wanker-hooey.

Haha I’ve seen places like that before. They won’t be around long. Thrift store clubs

Yeah, I was talking to one of my friends. I told him the new clubs are priced normally. I should trade in all my old stuff, they must be using a PGA value guide from 1975...the money I'd get I could put toward new crap.

This palce is also a range and restaraunt...been around a long time. I questioned the prices once and the guy said, " the price is the price"...

I'd be hoping for a fire if I were him and take the insurance money.

Typhoon I'd be hoping for a fire if I were him and take the insurance money

He can light one with any persimmon woods he has lying around.

The Ping's...amazing...still has e build tag on the 3 iron. AND I believed they are the " plus no plus" model.

At this place? Got a better chance of seeing God.... I know a brand new set of these is rarer than rocking horse shit but they will have them forever, just like everything else. The Corker...still $175... Like it was 35 years ago.

There were a couple used sets of vapor fly and vapor speed for over $250. I tried to talk them ...the guy was rather offended when I asked. I laughed.

I agree with DC300. Besides money laundering or some sort of tax write-off why would this business exist? Honestly at those prices I don't know how they would have ANY cash sales to help launder the money lol.

        Typhoon

I'd be hoping for a fire if I were him and take the insurance money.

        LMAO

KCee Honestly at those prices I don't know how they would have ANY cash sales to help launder the money lol.

Isn't that exactly how you launder money? You make up sales you don't have.
