There are four ways to accomplish cooked bacon.
The science is compelling and unequivocal.
For flavorful bacon the best way is #3. There is no further need to discuss.

ps, To know precisely how microwave ovens actually work....hint: they NOT work by using hot demon breath...please click here: http://scitech.web.cern.ch/scitech/TopTech/01/MicroWaveOven/microwave_2.shtml
Actually, I like cooking it on the bbq grill.
I agree that the contact heat transfer of #3 is better, but not enough to overcome my laziness. Cook in the oven at 400F. Take mine and my daughters out when done to the correct amount, leave my wife and son's in another 2-3 minutes until crunchy (yuck).
Oven baked at 400°, depending on the thickness of the slice and the moisture content , 20 min to 25 min .
Done in perfection, crispy but not burnt.
Place on rack to cool and drain, prevent turning soggy.
BTW, we love the low sodium naturally cured Kirkland brand.
