sdandrea1 I gotchya Rick. I'm just picky about how I would do it. It will probably be fine doing it like that. If it were me, I'd just go slow and hand sand each shaft to fit the head. Your clubs, your call!
At this point I am still tinkering. I certainly don't want to create flying iron heads. If these were for my own play I might try the pencil sharpener. I might still bore them out and there will be no question. This is for a set of Ping Eye 2's I bought last year. They came with a mixed set of shafts so I wanted to pull them and replace. I was going to use some FST 115 for my own use but I think now that these are going to be diggers for me so I am going to reshaft and find them a new home. I have some Mitsubishi PTS graphites I was thinking about putting in them hence the tinkering with taper idea.
