So very sorry cancer is invaded into your family too. PMA goes a long way but hard to locate at the times your body is rebelling so vigorously . Just never ask What's next! You'll find out soon enough. I thought I knew what is what watching my own dad go to his end this way, but even as close as we were, it is different from inside looking out, more than I ever imagined . I wish I could have known then what I do now.
I believe that we can beat cancer, one type at a time, step by step. Immunology approaches are being used and Crisper gene splicing is a great hope too. Wished something had been available near me, but happy my clinical trial is progressing with it's small molecule stem cancer cell reproducing pathway blocking approach. Abroxane , one of my standard chemos, is effective for a while , particularly paired with Genzar. I've read only 4% of cancer patients get into clinical trials. I was very lucky to find one only 95 miles away and was qualified quickly although it was difficult to get in. Had number 20 treatment yesterday. Take experimental drug 2X a day pills. I'm extremely excited to participate and gain a chance for longer life and to be part of effort to bring another way to fight this monster, although I loose sight of this when battling the ugly issues.
Support, prayers, any kind words or deeds go further to help than I ever imagined and I feel so blessed with a big contingent of those every day, especially my biggest pusher , wifey, and care giver of never ending energy -efforts. Patience well, maybe strained some...
God sustain you and give you all you need,
