Need your email addy to research that one!!! And it's Hammer, not Hammerhead although I can be!
Don't recall the incident you're mentioning my friend but I always request pics!!
And by the way I have sent out pics to many potential buyers and yes the majority of those didn't purchase BUT that's just part on doing business on the web and I'm sure the greatest majority of members here would agree. It's to be expected.
Further to that issue you bring up...... I have several old friends (way past 70) that don't do computers and I often inquire, get the pics and get with them. I try to take care of my older friends that can still beat me and I just turned 70. Hell to play with a guy that's 76 and is a single digit handicapper! I get beat all the time!
Being on a fixed income now (and they surely are), I really shop around but hardly ever buy anything without pics. Learned the hard way years ago on FGI that one man's 9 is another man's 7.5. By and large the best trades, sales and purchases I ever made was on FGI. Trusted them much more than Ebay!! I've made a couple purchases here since joining and all went well. Actually sold a set of DTG single length irons, Cobra irons, etc pretty quickly and smooth as heck. I have a 959OL and was inquiring about yours for Larry a 77 year old who hits it short and straight. If you change your mind shoot some pics to my email at Hammer4413@yahoo.com. Also if you consider selling the head let me know as Larry uses a senior shaft and I have several he can have to put in it if he considers purchasing. I'm encouraging him to do so as I think it would add a few more yards to his drives. Others on here have suggested checking out Felon, Juggernaut, Hi-Core etc which I'll look up for him while watching Bowl Games!
If not, no worries, I tried to sell him a MINT Callaway Fusion 13.5* driver with a senior shaft I bought here but for some reason he doesn't like Callaway??? GO figure, I just thought it'd be a great driver for him so my friend took it to the Philippines this week with him. I sold him 4 Wilson clubs for $250 and he sold them today there for $500. He says they have a hard time getting brand name stuff there. Anyway I'm rambling so Happy New Year......back to College FOOTBALL!!!
