fatshot The DCT was the 1st Geek Head, Designed with internal weight characteristics meant for the Long Drive world. Still very playable for the regular golfer. It does tend to launch lower than the standard OEM driver so the recommendation has always been go approx 1 loft up. Not everyone needs that. It’s been the best selling Geek driver and the DCT won the Worlds LD Open Div in 2007 and a record 551 yard drive at a 2007 PGA sanctioned event.
Steve Almo wanted to top the DCT. He already had the very forgiving Fail Safe 3. It has been used in LD but was built for the average golfer.
Planning the No Brainer he wanted to continue the weighting of the DCT, but distribute it better. He also wanted to change the aerodynamics. After some tests with prototypes, making a few changes and a lot of visual design changes ( I know first hand) the No Brainer was born. It’s my personal favorite head. It has won regional LD championships and specific age range and group world championships.
Due to the popularity of the Little Bastard, Geek green lit my idea for an illegal version of the No Brainer, the Ball Breaker!
Had to correct a lot of typos, my daughter was asking a lot of questions while I was typing 🤣
