A lot of you know Im the artist for Geek Golf, and lately a spokesman. I’ve been sick and inactive for 3 months, but there’s things in the works that I wanted to update everyone on.
In 2019 Geek plans to debut its first adjustable hosel driver head. It’s been in the works for a couple of years. We finally have an adapter design we feel we can move forward with. More testing still needs to be done. It will debut on a completely brand new head and if all goes well the traditional DCT, No Brainer and FS3 may get this upgrade.
One thing that surprised me in 2018 was a surge in sales of the LB130. I do sell Geek heads on eBay, and ran out of some lofts of this head. One customer was not happy because we ran out of 12 deg. I offered him the Geek No Brainer driver head of his choice plus a fw wood for his trouble. His response? Don’t you have an Illegal Version ofthe No Brainer?
This brought about the birth of a too hot for the USGA version of the No Brainer. It’s being built as I type this. It will not feature the new adapter, standard .335 hosel only but it will be hotter than standard.
Ive been talking to Derek Baer about a new color for the DCT. If y’all remember Steve introduced it in a very dark blue. Changed to black about 10 years ago, and a white version existed for a while (my idea btw). Personally, the DCT is a head that does not need a change made to it outside of a possible adapter addition. Changing from basic black may not be a bad idea. I personally loved the White DCT, but let’s face it that’s a secondary color, not a main color.
Outside of black, what color would you like to see on the DCT?
