I happen to believe Ancestry.com is non-sense. Pretty simple. I believe that if I gave samples disguised as 5 different people I'd get 5 different results.
Before you just can't wait to reply about how I don't understand how DNA works, I do. I understand, in theory, what DNA is supposed to reveal. I do not believe Ancestry.com is going to tell me much of anything. I've never done it before but I would guess they make you fill out a questionnaire in conjunction with your sample?
Why is that needed if DNA is the big revealer? Again, if I went and logged in and created 5 different profiles and sent in the same DNA sample I would get 5 different results.
As for my ancestry, I know as much as I want to know about which relative going so far back came from where...I just want to know how to determine the percentages of my children based on what I know about may ancestors heritage.
