scotts33 Exactly. I donβt mind some of it, it makes you more reasonably sure you arenβt being completely hosed on both sides.
I still look back at the dark ages of FGI, bought a set of irons the owner claimed to be a β9/10 or betterβ, trusted it, got what I would have classified as 5/10 irons. I bought a set irons on eBay and had to fight tooth and nail to prove the seller intentionally deceived the buyer (me) on the condition. He listed them as mint condition, the photos were a bit blurry, when they got to me, I could literally see grinder marks where he tried to hide big rock chips. Had to go through a bunch of hoops until I finally got a representative on the phone who looked at the listing and the pictures I took of them, he refunded me the whole transaction and told me to just keep them for the hassle. It all worked out, but the point is there is good reason for some steps to protect people.
